The Kitchen: Small but Mighty

Using the barbeque that is just outside the kitchen door and the two NuWave induction cooktops, Super Hosts and Super Guests Ryan and Anna turned out a complete Thanksgiving dinner. Most business travelers won't be roasting a turkey, but for those who are vacationing or staying a bit longer, the Small but Mighty kitchen is quite capable.

  • Two NuWave Induction Cooktops and full set of compatible cookware.
  • Barbeque (just outside the kitchen door) and barbecue utensils. Propane powered.
  • Full complement of utensils and dishes.
  • Paper towels, napkins, coffee filters, trash bags.
  • K-Cup Coffeemaker, AeroPress, Grinder.
  • Peet's French Roast Coffee, teas, sweeteners, fake milk.
  • Refrigerator and Freezer
  • Microwave
  • Blender
  • Electric kettle.

To the left, the hallway to the bedroom. The TV is on a mount and can be pulled out to face the sofa or the dining table.

The bathroom, shown above, is off the hall and can be shared by guests using the convertible sofa or air bed. The bath is well equipped, but shower-only (no tub).

To the right of the TV and Bar, the Kitchen, and just outside the door on the right, the Barbecue

The sofa at the end is a comfortable convertible sofa that can sleep two (not recommended for long stays). There is also a single air-bed -- so we can be a real AirBnB -- that guest can inflate. Single guests often prefer the top of the sofa (easier); we have linens and blankets. Using the Airbed means it is best to sleep on the unfolded sofabed.)
